During the 1920s, Victorian morals of constriction were abandoned, particularly in the fashion houses of Milan as a new culture of culture of dance, seduction, independence, and indulgence came to life. Fashions of tight-laced corsets and unrevealing gowns were ignored. Fashions of loose, knee-bearing dresses and luxurious furs and kimonos were adored.
